OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and motivated technical support engineer to provide service, repair, and installation of the full range of casino gaming equipment in our customers’ locations.
As the front line of our after-care function you will offer excellent customer service and high levels of support both out in the field and remotely.
There is significant opportunity for progression within the role.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience and/or recent qualifications in an IT discipline.
  • Medium-High level technical knowledge including knowledge of PC operating systems including Windows and Linux as well as a good grounding in wide area network communications.
  • Technical and problem-solving skills in both hardware and software.
  • Good communication, listening and customer service skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, as IT systems involve many different professionals with different skill sets and levels of expertise
  • The ability to multitask, as you may be working on multiple problems simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of electrical theory and safe working practices.
  • Trained or qualified in a relevant discipline although not essential.
  • Physically capable of moving and installing equipment, including gaming terminals, following appropriate manual handling training” or similar
  • Hold a full UK driving Licence.
  • Available to work away from home in locations throughout the UK during the working week.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A “can do” attitude.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • After-care technical support; in the field and remotely via PC desktop connection, email and telephone.
  • Repair, service, and the installation of gaming equipment.
  • Carry out and follow testing procedures to ensure accurate fault diagnosis.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, delivering high standards of customer service.
  • Complete the required number of service calls per day as directed by the Field Service Engineer Manager.
  • Coordinate with members of the team to ensure effective planning, organisation and delivery of software update and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork, reports, and software backups.
  • Adherence to health and safety practices and procedures.
