Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Support Engineer who can manage and support software systems for outside clientele. The technical support engineer will be hybrid based in Morrisville, NC.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER INCLUDES:

  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for end-users, resolving issues related to Microsoft 365, Outlook, Windows Server, and related technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory issues, including user account management, group policies, and authentication problems.
  • Execute and optimize queries for data retravel and reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
  • Support cloud-based environments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER INCLUDE:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar area
  • Understand Active Directory on a system level
  • Resolve issues in Windows servers, Microsoft 365, and Outlook
  • Experience using SQL
  • Any prior experience supporting cloud-based frameworks is a plus (AWS, Azure, GCP)
