TECHNICAL SUPPORT LEAD AND ERP CONSULTANT – CLAYTON, VIC

Kogan People Solutions are working with a leading solutions provider specializing in ERP implementation for organizations of all sizes and is based in Clayton, Victoria.
They provide ERP solutions using software such as Odoo to streamline business operations and optimize performance and efficiency.
Our client has a proven track record of delivering successful ERP implementation across the industry. Their mission is to provide its customers with technical tools and software to leverage technology enabling them to bring about positive changes within their clients’ organizations.
We’re looking for a skilled, driven and highly qualified professional to join and lead their ERP implementation team. A great salary, in the range of $70k to $80k plus superannuation per annum, is on offer and the role is full-time and ongoing.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Implement ERP projects, from requirements gathering to system configuration, testing and deployment.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within ERP systems while maintaining adherence to testing standards.
  • Collaborate with product teams, developers, and QAs while leading the technical support department to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of technical challenges and the optimization of ERP solutions.
  • Review software and application development and codebase, conducting internal unit and system tests to ensure quality and functionality prior to client releases.
  • Plan and maintain security measures, including access controls and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide consultation on ERP implementation, integration, upgrades, and system enhancements.
  • Conduct gap analyses for existing systems and workflows to optimize performance, from requirement gathering through to deployment.
  • Provide training and onboarding for new tech support team members, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet client needs.
  • Streamline processes for deployment, ticket management, end-user support and documentation.
  • Conduct user training sessions and create documentation to support clients during and after go-lives.
  • Evaluate existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO POSITIVELY ADDRESS THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in relevant field or agreed substitute.
  • Post qualification experience of at least 3 years (preferably more) in a similar role.
  • A valid Odoo certification is mandatory.
  • Proven hands-on experience in ERP implementation with the Odoo framework, including system customization and configuration, user training and issue resolution.
  • Solid experience in the Odoo Cloud platform (odoo.sh) deployment, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency and strong background in business analysis and data migration.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed documentation, such as business requirements, functional requirements, and work procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with clients, stakeholders, developers, and QA team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interact with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
