Inbox Business Technologies, a leading Information Technology and Services company, is hiring a Technical Support Officer to join their team. The Technical Support Officer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to clients, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong passion for customer service, and a solid understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide support for hardware-related issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity issues. Assemble, set up, and configure hardware components as per technical specifications. Diagnose and repair faulty hardware, including motherboards, CPUs, RAM, and hard drives. Perform component replacement and hands-on repairs when necessary. Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of hardware. Log and track issues using a ticketing system; ensure timely resolution and follow-up. Communicate effectively with users to understand issues and provide clear instructions and resolutions. Maintain documentation related to support tickets, repairs, and hardware inventory. Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / B.Sc in Engineering / Diploma in IT or relevant field. 0–3 years of experience in an IT service desk or hardware support role Strong knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware and troubleshooting. Experience with LAN/Wi-Fi network troubleshooting. Ability to assemble and configure computer systems and peripherals. Hands-on experience repairing and replacing faulty components. Strong customer service and communication skills. Effective complaint handling and task management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work in rotational shifts (24/7 IT Support)
