SUMMARY    The successful candidate in the Technical Support Services (TSS) Technician I role provides technical assistance and support to clients of FIT Technologies. The TSS Technician I support, monitors, and maintains the client environment either onsite or remotely by performing day-to-day tasks and maintenance. This role relies on following predefined procedures, guidelines and sound exercising sound judgment to meet FIT’s standards for IT support and exemplary client service.     PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES     Working under direct supervision, the TSS Technician I will:  1. Build and maintain relationships with clients and other team members.   1. Install, maintain, and repair desktop hardware, network equipment and PC peripherals.    1. Maintain daily service calls and meet requested SLA time frames based on client expectations.    1. Participate in equipment liquidations.    1. Perform routine maintenance following company and client standards.    1. Perform software/hardware upgrades.    1. Provide detailed progress updates in a timely and accurate manner.    1. Work to ensure physical cabling infrastructure meets desired standards.     KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS   1. Basic comprehension of networking protocols and concepts such as TCP/IP addressing, and VLANS.    2. Basic familiarity with network-based PC operating system deployment.    3. Display a professional, reliable, trustworthy, and positive demeanor.    4. Have a basic understanding of various versions of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Group Policy.    5. Have basic experience with Microsoft Office applications.    6. Have organizational skills with strong orientation to detail and ability to follow-through on tasks.    7. Possess ability to maintain confidentiality of accessed, processed, or stored information.    8. Possess ability to relay technical information and instruction (written and verbal) to clients with varying ranges of technical knowledge and background.    9.
