COMPANY SUMMARY

EkkoSense provides software analytics and consultancy services to the built environment including power. Its software application, EkkoSoft, is a web based SaaS platform for the monitoring, management and analytics of environmental and M&E data. The software helps customers realise energy saving, capacity release or risk reduction benefits across their installed network.

JOB SUMMARY

The role will be one working within a multi-skilled team (electricians, software developers, admin) to commission monitoring software in critical infrastructure spaces (e.g., data centres). This will be a night shift role 4 on 4 off with an initial day shift period of training of 4-6 weeks
The role would be responsible for delivering a portfolio of Support related projects to deliver against understood and agreed criteria.
The role is mostly office any may involve some on-site based commissioning, integrating the business’ proprietary cloud-based software. Some of the work will involve remote commissioning of software and hardware, working in conjunction with an onsite installation team.
The job role will include:
· Investigating and resolving client issues which enter the business via a Jira ticketing system, email, or account managers
· Taking ownership of commissioning activities within a project and operating effectively with other departments to ensure your commissioning activities are carried out successfully including occasionally visiting sites to room draw, if needed.
· Communicating with customers directly, helping to resolve problems.
· Helping to identify risks within the department and effectively development process improvements within the ISO 27001 framework to help mitigate these risks.
· Ensuring commissioning activities are carried out in full compliance within the project timescales and the QMS.
· Fault finding and analysing issues on live systems in a remote support function.
· Performing data analysis and developing analysis/test tools to support general activities.
· Assisting with the development and maintenance of software and hardware documentation, both internal and customer facing.
· Operating effectively with other departments to ensure your commissioning activities are carried out successfully.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

· Excellent communication skills and able to effectively communicate with colleagues and customers.
· Able to work on their own initiative, think independently and make decisions.
· Excellent attention to detail to ensure that we are meeting our demanding delivery standards.
· Able to manage several customer projects at any one time and prioritise according to a constantly changing schedule.
· Good written and verbal skills and able to effectively communicate with customers, directors, and colleagues.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

· Any data analytics knowledge.
· Experience of working in an organisation with ISO 27001 accreditation.
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
