Technical Support Specialist
We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our Exlar team!
As out technical support specialist you will field and provide answers to questions concerning actuator operation, repairs, returns and parts. You will also be a part of the RGA team that administers warranty returns and provides quotations for parts and repairs.
Location: Chanhassen, MN
Salary/hourly rate: $58,500 to $78,000

Your Challenge

  • Create sub assembly, component parts and individual parts quotes for authorized repair centers, distributors and customers
  • Parse incoming technical documentation, and information using engineering tools to evaluate product problems and provide solutions.
  • Communicate directly with customers, distributors, and manufacturers to evaluate product issues
  • Coordinate resolution of product non-conformance, upgrades, and start-up issues.
  • Facilitate the post-sales technical support process
  • Provide training to sales channel partners regarding product maintenance and repairs
  • Assist product management and engineering with new product development.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Technical certificate in mechanics robotics, or similar field or experience (preferred)
  • Two or more years of experience in industrial automation and motion control (preferred)
  • Sound technical understanding of electronics, motors, industrial communication protocols, and kinematics (required)
