Role Overview
We’re seeking a motivated IT Tech Support Specialist to provide day-to-day support for our entertainment venue, ensuring that games, immersive experiences, and core IT systems remain functional and reliable. This role also provides hands-on support for special events, including setup, troubleshooting, and working with external vendors.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing hardware.
  • Ability to diagnose AV-related issues (projectors, sound systems, sensors).

Soft Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under pressure.
  • Customer service mindset with patience and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, creative, and changing environment.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and support unique creative systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology, or related field.
  • IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.).
  • Experience in live event or entertainment technology support.
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 30 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in creative venue environments, including theaters and event spaces.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or after-hours in support of events.

Experience & Game Support

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot interactive experiences including sensors, projectors, PCs, audio systems, and custom software.
  • Perform regular pre-opening checks to ensure all games and immersive experiences are fully functional.
  • Provide rapid break-fix support during open hours to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with creative and operations teams to test, update, and roll out new experiences
Responsibilities

Experience & Game Support

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot interactive experiences including sensors, projectors, PCs, audio systems, and custom software.
  • Perform regular pre-opening checks to ensure all games and immersive experiences are fully functional.
  • Provide rapid break-fix support during open hours to minimize downtime.

Event Technical Support

  • Provide technical support for both internal and client events during business hours and scheduled after-hours events.
  • Support client media integrations (laptop playback, file compatibility, etc.).
  • Coordinate with external technical vendors during event load-in and load-out.
  • Serve as on-call support for special events, concerts, and immersive dining activations.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and networking issues across the company.
  • Respond to support requests via email, phone, and in person.
  • Assist with custom applications and creative software.

System Administration

  • Assist with user account management, permissions, and security.
  • Support server maintenance and monitoring of system performance.
  • Maintain documentation and internal knowledge bases.

Multi-Site & Infrastructure Support

  • Provide IT and game/experience support across multiple locations and remote workers.
  • Manage and track IT and AV equipment inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain network connectivity and wireless performance.
  • Assist with backup, recovery, and security compliance.
