POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to support our headquarters in Foster City. This role is an integral part of our global IT organization and reports directly to the Associate Director of IT Operations & Security. The ideal candidate will not only resolve technical incidents but also identify underlying problems and develop long-term solutions and processes. Responsibilities: Provide remote and onsite IT support for Mirum employees. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain effective communication. Troubleshoot end-user hardware/software issues (Monitors, Lenovo Laptops, conference room A/V equipment). Support AV events during company meetings and events using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Logitech Sync software and hardware. Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. Maintain inventory of all IT equipment, software, and hardware. Support standard corporate administrative tasks via the ticketing system. Conduct incident resolution and root cause analysis for various incidents and outages. Provide white glove support for executive staff. Assist with laptop and mobile device deployment. Maintain knowledge of and experience with Adobe, Box, and Microsoft applications (OneDrive, SharePoint, Office suite, etc.). Offer general networking support (Firewall, IP addresses, WLAN, Router/Switch). Required Skills: Minimum of 3-5 years in a technical support position. Deep knowledge of Windows Operating System, Azure AD, Intune, Office 365, and Okta (a must). General networking knowledge (Firewall, IP addresses, WLAN, Router/Switch). Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams, customers, and external vendors. Strong incident resolution and root cause analysis skills. Required Office Skills/Responsibilities: The candidate must be onsite Monday through Friday. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to; skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location.
