POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting customers and channel partners with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to our instruments and software. You will handle technical inquiries, provide remote support, and ensure that product installations, configurations, and repairs meet company standards. You will work closely with the engineering team, providing feedback on recurring issues and assisting in root-cause analysis to support ongoing product improvements. The successful candidate must be able to follow technical procedures, document support activities accurately, and function effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
· 2+ years of experience in a technical support or customer support role, preferably in scientific instrumentation or industrial equipment.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Familiarity with basic electronics, networking (Ethernet, Wi-Fi), and software troubleshooting.
· Experience with CRM or ticketing systems is a plus.
· Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
· Must be able to work effectively alone under minimal supervision and complete assigned work targets in a timely manner.
· Experience in air quality monitoring, environmental instrumentation, or particle counters.
· Hands-on experience with calibration or repair of precision instruments.
· Familiarity with ISO standards and practices.
· Multilingual abilities are a plus.
EDUCATION:
· HS Diploma or equivalent
