Description Join the Team! We’re looking for a versatile and resourceful technical professional who enjoys solving problems across both hardware and software. This hybrid role combines PC troubleshooting and setup, day-to-day IT support, and web/application development. Duties & Responsibilities Provide first-line PC triage, troubleshooting, and system setup for new and existing users Configure workstations, install software, and assist with basic networking tasks Support users with technical issues in a clear, patient, and solution-oriented manner Develop and maintain websites, internal tools, and small applications Assist with client/server programming tasks and database-driven systems Collaborate on technical projects, documentation, and process improvements Help streamline workflows and identify opportunities for automation Skills Strong troubleshooting instincts and confidence diagnosing PC issues Experience with Windows environments, system setup, and common IT tools Working knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET) Familiarity with databases (SQL Server) and basic client/server concepts Ability to switch between IT support tasks and development work as needed Clear communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies A self-starter mindset - you enjoy figuring things out Nice to Have Familiarity with vbScript, classic ASP, or VBA Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python) Understanding of networking fundamentals Prior helpdesk or MSP experience Why This Role Is Great Every day is different - you’ll work with hardware, software, and code Room to grow into deeper development or systems work Join a small, technical, and supportive team Your ideas for improving processes and tools will actually get implemented What O'Connor Offers YOU: Paid weekly (every Friday) Paid holidays, PTO, and your birthday off Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance; employee-paid supplemental insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match program Note: This position is in-person; it is not remote.
