This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Surveying Manager in the United Kingdom. We are seeking a Technical Surveying Manager to provide strategic leadership and expert guidance across residential surveying and valuation projects. In this role, you will support lender clients, internal teams, and stakeholders by ensuring compliance with industry standards and promoting best practices. You will deliver technical advice, develop guidance materials, and drive operational excellence to strengthen client confidence. The role involves analyzing data to inform strategic decisions, managing risks, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Occasional national travel and office presence may be required, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative and impactful environment. Accountabilities: · Provide technical leadership and guidance to lender clients and internal teams. · Deliver presentations and regular updates at lender and regional conferences. · Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes, producing guidance and analysis for stakeholders. · Support strategic initiatives, contract renewals, and testing of new workflows and technologies. · Respond to technical queries within agreed service levels and support learning and development programs. · Collaborate with internal teams to mitigate risks, review indemnity claims, and support operational reporting. · Act as a Subject Matter Expert for allocated lenders, contributing to policy guidance and strategic decision-making. · Minimum MRICS qualification; FRICS desirable, or AssocRICS with relevant experience. · Detailed knowledge of RICS “Red Book” standards and residential surveying/valuation sector trends. · Proven experience in residential surveying and valuation, with at least 5 years in the field preferred. · Experience producing technical guidance for diverse client and internal audiences. · Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends for strategic decision-making. · Excellent communication and presentation skills. · Ability to work collaboratively with both remote and office-based teams. · Understanding of the end-to-end mortgage origination process is an advantage. · Willingness to travel nationally as required. · Permanent, full-time position with flexible working arrangements. · Exposure to strategic projects and high-impact decision-making. · Opportunity to work in a diverse, inclusive, and supportive professional environment. · Competitive compensation and potential for career development. · Participation in internal learning and development initiatives. · Access to company benefits, including health and wellness programs.
