.REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
* Strong expertise in Python, Django, Flask, Django REST Framework (DRF).
* Hands-on experience with Docker, container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred), and DevOps pipelines.
* Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React/Next.js) to support cross-team collaboration.
* Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
* Proven experience in Travel Technology: OTAs, booking engines, supplier integrations (hotels, flights), or GDS systems.
* Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and managing sprints.
* Strong database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
* Familiarity with caching systems (Redis, Memcached) and search technologies (ElasticSearch, Solr).
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage clients and stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, GCP Functions).
• Knowledge of GraphQL for APIs.
• Exposure to AI/ML applications in travel tech (recommendation engines, dynamic pricing, etc.).
• Experience in performance tuning and high-availability systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Tech Team Lead with a strong background in Python frameworks (Django, Flask, DRF) and modern technologies like Docker, microservices, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with proven leadership skills, particularly in the travel technology domain (OTAs, booking engines, GDS, APIs).This role requires not only strong engineering capabilities but also the ability to manage teams, handle client interactions, and drive technology initiatives aligned with business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team to deliver scalable, reliable, and innovative travel tech solutions.
* Architect, design, and oversee applications built using Django, Flask, Django REST Framework (DRF).
* Manage containerization and deployment pipelines using Docker (Kubernetes knowledge is a plus).
* Implement and enforce best practices in software development, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
* Oversee integration with Global Distribution Systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport) and third-party hotel/flight booking APIs.
* Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and employee relations (ER) management to ensure team performance and growth.
* Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
* Manage client interactions, ensuring smooth communication, requirement gathering, and timely delivery.
