About the role The technical trainer will create and deliver learning programs to teach employees skills that are beneficial for their professional development. The corporate trainer explains new concepts and provide ongoing learning opportunities for employees to help them improve their work performance, which can boost morale, strengthen employee engagement, and increase retention. A corporate trainer helps the company through the following actions: Develop a skilled, knowledgeable workforce that meets key business objectives. Lead onboarding procedures for new employees and construct career path for existing employees based on competency matrix. Conduct research to find quality learning content for employees. Their research may determine focus areas for different groups of employees. Monitor learning trends and new techniques to enhance their training programs. Contribute to a certain extent to support the operations including Incident, Change and Release Management. About you Knowledge and abilities Technical: Excellent Knowledge on Extranet/Internet protocols (TCP-IP, SMTP/POP, DNS, Proxy etc.) Good knowledge on Network systems Good working experience in Operating Systems – Windows and Linux Good knowledge on Firewall technologies (Fotigate,Palo, Alto,Checkpoint, Juniper etc), Proxies, Antivirus, Load balancers, switch and routers (CISCO) Conversant with MS Office Software Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and eLearning software is an asset Knowledge: Train the trainer Knowledge Management Systems Process and Standards Support/service Organization Customer Relationship Management Abilities: Good communication skills Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills Good time management, and organizational skills Good Coaching and mentoring skills Agility Critical thinking and decision making Ability to work under pressure & multi-task Lifelong learning approach to acquire modern training techniques Education, qualifications, and certifications: Degree in IT or Telecommunications field or MBA from a recognized university ITIL V4 Foundation (optional) CCNA, CCNP (optional) NSE4&5 Microsoft Certifications (Azure) You bring open mindedness, ability to handle pressure, leading with courage and empathy, assertiveness and communicate effectively.
