We are hiring for an existent vacancy seeking a motivational and highly skilled Technical Trainer to support our enterprise partner development and lead-generation strategy. This brand-new role will be responsible for delivering OCNA, VCSA, Omada Boot Camp, and VIGI Boot Camp training programs, while also providing technical support at selected partner and industry events.

Type: Full-Time | $65K - $75K + Group Insurance Benefits + Paid Time Off


Requirements:


The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/ or ability required.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information technology, engineering, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Trainer, Technical Instructor, or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of modern training methodologies, with the ability to adapt technical content and delivery to different audiences and learning styles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and public-speaking skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Strong practical networking knowledge, including hands-on experience with switches, access points, routers/gateways, VLANs, PoE, network management, and related technologies.
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently prepare, configure, and manage technical training environments.
  • Technically capable of independently delivering standardized training while maintaining a defined escalation path to Sales Engineering for advanced network architecture, solution design, and complex customer requirements.
  • Familiarity with surveillance and network video solutions is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate and deliver training activities independently.
  • Confident and professional when interacting with partners, installers, integrators, distributors, and customers.


Additional Information

Travel Requirement: Monthly business travel (provincial/ inter-provincial) will be required.


Responsibilities:


  • Deliver OCNA & VCSA Certification Training.
  • Deliver Omada & VIGI Boot Camp Training.
  • Prepare, configure, test, and maintain training equipment.
  • Collaborate with B2B Marketing/ Distribution/ Sales Engineering (SE) teams to develop and update training curriculum.
  • Support sales selected tradeshows and partner events.
  • Identify technical questions or opportunities requiring SE follow-up based on SE follow-up
  • Collect partner feedback and field intelligence.
  • Provide post-training reports covering attendance, engagement, feedback, and potential opportunities.
