Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The “WHAT” to be delivered

  • Design, develop and deliver competency-based technical training programs relating to isolation and access to high voltage, low

voltage, and mechanical apparatus to meet the standards required by Power and Water Corporation.

  • Design and create SCORM-compliant interactive multimedia content for educational, instructional and simulation purposes, using

authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and analyse learning objectives and content requirements.
  • Create engaging and visually appealing eLearning modules, incorporating instructional design principles and best practices.
  • Review training currency to ensure it aligns with Power Services documentation and required outcomes.
  • Liaise with relevant business units to schedule, coordinate and conduct competency based technical training and assessment to meet

organisational requirements.

  • Record relevant data and information in appropriate organisational systems.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of technical training programs and provide recommendations regarding their ongoing viability, as well as

analyse and make recommendations on possible additions and improvements to programs.

  • Keep up to date with new technology within the industry and ensure appropriate training is in place for the introduction of any new

technology, procedures, or work practices.

  • Participate in internal auditing and investigation processes and the development and implementation of remedial actions and

recommendations as required.

  • Carry out duties in accordance with all relevant legislation and Power and Water’s safety, environmental and quality policy, safety

principles, corporate values, and strategies.
