Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Technical & Training Manager.
Reporting to the Operations Manager within a leading HVAC manufacturing business, the Technical & Training Manager will have full accountability of company technical and training strategy and delivery. You will work collaboratively with all departments to develop strategy in order to drive business growth and profitability.
You should be based within one hour commute of Ledbury and be open to UK wide travel, to include some European travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product compliance, testing and approval status.
  • Ongoing contribution to HPA & MARC and other trade organisations and reporting observations to the management team.
  • Develop accredited training courses and content.
  • Provide technical training to colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • HR and H&S ownership for the people you are responsible for.
  • New product development, improvement, and modifications.
  • Installation and technical documentation.
  • Ownership and maintenance of BIM files, all CAD drawings, technical submittals, product installation and management and post-order site surveys.
  • Post-sales service, including commissioning, warranty, spares, complaints, site visits and reporting
  • Support the sales team in a technical capacity.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external colleagues to ensure that enquiries, quotations, specifications, negotiations and orders are handled effectively and efficiently.
  • Contribute to sales meetings and any other departmental meeting as required.
  • Report on all activities, prospects and sales opportunities through company CRM and other systems.
  • Identify and develop possible technical advances in existing products.
  • Keep the business updated on legislative changes that could affect it.

£55,000 annual salary + Bonus.
