Description

Strategic Analysis, Inc (SA) is seeking a Technical Writer to lead efforts in identifying, evaluating, and managing opportunities for groundbreaking projects aligned with the agency’s mission. ARPA-H is seeking a detail oriented, fearless Technical Writer to lead documentation efforts related to Innovative Solution Offering (ISO) coordination and produce high-quality documents supporting all aspects of Mission Office operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Must approach editing with confidence and independence, unafraid to substantially revise or rewrite unclear or poorly written material to ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality.
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide candid, constructive feedback and make decisive editorial changes, even when revising work from senior staff or subject-matter experts.
  • Able to prioritize clarity and effective communication above personal sensitivities, ensuring all documents meet high standards regardless of their original form.
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines and able to deliver high-quality documentation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Maintains composure and attention to detail when managing multiple projects simultaneously and during periods of high demand.
  • Experience developing various briefing slides.
  • 2+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in healthcare, research, or a regulated environment.
    Education requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, draft, and maintain documentation for Innovative Solultions Openings (similar to BAA)-related activities, including policies, procedures, technical reports, and summaries.
  • Develop and manage a variety of documents for the Mission Office, such as procedural guides, training materials, meeting summaries, and communications.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
  • Translate evaluation comments and technical feedback into clear, plain language suitable for public audiences.
  • Establish and uphold standards for document formatting, version control, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support the creation of templates, flowcharts, and process diagrams to enhance understanding of complex workflows.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of materials for presentations, response letters, and one-off submissions.
  • Monitor updates in agency standards and incorporate relevant changes into documentation.
  • This role collaborates with subject-matter experts to deliver clear, accurate, and consistent documentation supporting program goals, compliance, and innovation.
