Description

abra R&D is seeking for a Technical Writer. This role requires experience in writing software documentation, particularly SVDs (Software Version Description), and will provide engineering support to project managers in various documentation and configuration-related processes. A full-time on-site position, based in central Israel. Key Responsibilities: Writing and maintaining technical documents in English: SVDs, SRS, SDD Supporting engineering and project teams with documentation and release processes Ensuring all documentation meets quality standards, compliance requirements, and release deadlines Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including software, systems, QA, and integration Requirements 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in a software or defense-related environment Hands-on experience writing SVDs and other technical documents in English Familiarity with software documentation standards (SRS, SDD, etc.) Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, Word, and structured templates Strong written and verbal communication skills in English – must Experience supporting project managers and engineering teams
