Adecco is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our client’s team in either Toronto, ON or Calgary, AB. This full-time role focuses on producing clear, accurate, and comprehensive technical documents, including user guides, training materials, and process guides. You will collaborate closely with project managers and team members to support project goals and improve team workflows.

  • Pay rate: $28.76/hour.
  • Location: Toronto, ON or Calgary, AB
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, concise technical documents such as user manuals, training materials, and process guides
  • Create and organize project documentation including plans, reports, and meeting notes
  • Assist the project team by scheduling meetings and managing calendars
  • Share project updates and maintain communications with stakeholders and team members
  • Collect and analyze data to support project decisions and tracking
  • Suggest and implement improvements to team processes
  • Work closely with project managers and teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in technical writing
  • Strong skills in reviewing and editing technical documents
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting
  • Interested in continuous improvement of work processes
