Alicat Scientific, Inc. designs and manufactures precision flow and pressure control instruments used in a wide range of industries. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Writer to join our team and support documentation efforts for our fast-paced production line in Marana, Arizona.

JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining high-quality documentation that supports production, training, and compliance. This role requires hands-on experience in manufacturing and a strong ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or production facility.
• 3+ years of collaboration with engineering and production teams.
• 2+ years of soldering experience.
• 2+ years of experience assembling electromechanical devices.
• 2+ years of experience using hand tools.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
