Basic Qualifications Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in writing, Engineering, or a related field. Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing and basic math skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities; excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail with the ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences; self-motivated and adept in managing competing priorities while handling high-volume workload; and proficient in MS Office, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and SolidWorks (CAD). Working Conditions: Ability to sit, walk, bend, reach and lift items up to 40lbs and extended duration of computer-based tasks involving use of fine motor skills.  Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in construction, truck machinery, agricultural industries, or related fields. General Responsibilities The Technical Writer is responsible to create, update, and maintain technical documentation for Curry Supply, including but not limited to operator manuals, parts manuals, customer product updates, and safety and service bulletins.   Essential Duties   1. Plans, develops, organizes, writes, and edits technical documentation. 2. Collaborates with engineering teams on product and documentation requirements. 3. Researches, develops, and documents technical design specifications. 4. Prioritizes and manages tasks to meet completion deadlines. 5. Creates images, drawings, diagrams, and charts to enhance user understanding. 6. Analyzes and maintains continuity of style in content. 7. Engages in and actively volunteers for Continuous Improvement projects and tasks. 8. Participates in and sustains 5S initiatives. 9. Updates and maintains a web-based product support site. 10. Adheres to all required Safety and Quality procedures. 11. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient information flow. 12. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace. 13. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the company’s compliance with all regulatory requirements. 14. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate personnel. 15. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy. Ancillary Duties   1.
