Overview The Technical Writer to collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and other fellow writers to create clear and concise information to help our customers. Work as part of an integrated team, using our content management system, Style Guides, Processes, and quality governance system for team success. . Education and Experience Graduate with Engineering Degree or Bachelor’s degree (Science preferred). 2 to 5 years of experience in Technical Writing with good writing skills Semiconductor Experience Preferred Requirements Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast‐paced, high‐tech environment. Good understanding of Software Documentation, SDLC and DDLC Knowledge of Agile Methodology Proficient in technical publishing software: Adobe Suite: FrameMaker, Acrobat Pro DC DITA XML: Oxygen and SDL Graphical: SnagIt, MS Paint MS Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Ability to work in a cross-functional organization and multitask on multiple projects. Must be a quick learner, self-starter, with strong attention to details and can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. May require 10% international travel. Role and Responsibility Independently work on technical writing projects: ensure the projects are completed on time, objectives are defined, necessary planning activities (e.g., plan authoring, review, estimation of deliverables, milestones, validating and testing, reliability, and risk mitigation of documents). Ensure project results meet requirements and ensure technical accuracy, quality, reliability, schedule. Develop help topics using DITA or Adobe FrameMaker. Develop User Manuals and Release Notes for the Software Release.
