JOB TITLE: Programmer Writer for Security AI Products
Overview: The Programmer Writer will support the creation of technical documentation for security products, focusing on developer guidance for security product Software Development Kits (SDKs) with AI support. This role involves working closely with engineering teams and program managers to scope out scenarios, understand tools, and create comprehensive documentation plans. The position offers the opportunity to work on large AI products, adding significant value to your resume.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with REST APIs
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with GitHub and Markdown
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with creating developer documentation.
• A Portfolio or previous samples of technical documentation is required – the best examples of previous work will include well thought through conceptual guidance, well structed references, tight and concise writing, and some work with REST APIs.
  Skills: Strong technical writing skills, ability to create well-structured references, and experience with REST APIs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: No specific degree required, but a background in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technical Communications, or related field is preferred.
• Skills: Passion for writing and customer experiences, ability to navigate ambiguity, and familiarity with Microsoft tools.
• Experience: Previous experience working on enterprise level developer documentation and tooling.

• Key Projects: Contribute to creating developer documentation for security product SDKs, focusing on AI support for partners and Independent Software Vendors.
• Task Breakdown: 50% meetings, 50% building infrastructure and writing code, preparing documentation for review, and publishing documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Documentation Creation: Develop developer documentation for security product SDKs, focusing on AI support.
• Collaboration: Work with engineering teams and program managers to understand customer and developer scenarios and create documentation plans.
• Infrastructure and Coding: Build infrastructure, write code, ensure code comments are clean and up to date, and manage automation workflows.
• Meetings: Participate in meetings, comprising 50% of the role.
• Review and Publish: Prepare documentation for review, conduct reviews, and publish documentation.
