Description

Proven experience as a Technical Writer, ideally within software, technology or mining technology environments
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to end users
Experience using technical authoring and content management tools, with MadCap Flare highly regarded
Experience working closely with software development teams and understanding the software development lifecycle
A degree in Computer Science, Geology, Engineering or a related discipline will be highly regarded

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain release notes, installation guides, configuration manuals, online help systems and user documentation
Collaborate with product managers, developers, testers and support teams to understand product updates and documentation requirements
Translate technical concepts into clear, accessible content for a range of audiences
Review and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency and usability
Contribute to documentation standards, processes and best practices
Support the administration of documentation and localisation tools
