SAIC is seeking Technical Writers to join the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) Advanced Development Operations (DevOps) and Sustainment Support (ADOS) program and provide on-site technical and administrative support to facilitate operations of critical MARS infrastructure and services. This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/ modernize MARS.
The ideal candidate will be located in the National Capital Region.

Responsibilities
  • Translate technical information into clear, understandable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Gather information, interview SMEs, and conduct additional research to convey material in a concise and effective manner.
  • Compose and edit technical documentation including Knowledge Articles, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, governance and control gates documentation, training materials, installation guides, and reports.
  • Establish the overall organizational layout and editorial standards of submissions and manage the schedule, assignments, and meetings associated with all narratives and submissions.
  • Supports quality control activities to ensure accuracy of each publication and ensures documentation complies with all applicable specifications, standards, and other constraints
