Description
SAIC seeks a talented individual to provide Technical Writer capabilities to prepare, update and maintain designated sections of the Combat Systems Capabilities and Limitations (ACS C&L) documents. Support includes document development and updates, and shall be in accordance with the necessary system design specifications and reference documentation such as ECPs, SHIPALTs, ORDALTs, weapons specifications, computer program definition documents and other pertinent publications. Other responsibilities include preparing, updating and maintaining documents in accordance with the C&L productions schedules, technical review processes and any emerging requirements as defined by the Government. This position will be located at Port Hueneme, CA. Education and experience: Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Required skills: Technical writing experience. General application of concepts, and principles Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance Required clearance: US Citizenship is required to meet the security requirements for this contract. Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance.
