Scalian is seeking a skilled Technical Writer with a strong background in Cybersecurity and Infrastructure projects to support the development of clear, accurate, and comprehensive technical documentation and project frameworks. This role is instrumental in translating complex infrastructure and security concepts into structured documentation that supports operational success, regulatory compliance, and secure systems design. You will also coordinate standard project activities such as requirements gathering, planning, monitoring, and configuration management—all within secure and dynamic IT environments. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to collaborate across diverse, multicultural teams and engage respectfully with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders. Job Description Create and maintain clear, structured documentation for cybersecurity and infrastructure projects, such as technical scopes, communications plans, deployment schedules, and compliance requirements Track and report on project status, focusing on scope, milestones, resource usage, timelines, budget, and adherence to security and quality standards Work closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and compliance teams to gather technical inputs and translate them into accessible, high-quality documentation Collaborate with operational and development leads to manage secure documentation repositories and ensure proper version control and centralized access Review and validate deliverables—such as architecture diagrams, security controls, and audit logs—for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with client and regulatory expectations Maintain thorough, audit-ready documentation throughout the project lifecycle, and ensure a seamless handover to support or operational teams at project completion Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in cybersecurity, infrastructure, or a similar high-tech field Strong working knowledge of Agile and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies Experience in regulated and secure industries (e.g., defense, critical infrastructure, financial services) Solid understanding of cybersecurity domains such as network security, endpoint protection, IAM, cloud security, and risk management Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify and organize complex technical information Proven success working on multiple concurrent projects in a multicultural, distributed environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office, G Suite, Confluence, Jira, and document control tools Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage documentation lifecycles from initiation to delivery Experience in stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation planning Additional Information Why join us?
