POSITION OBJECTIVES:

• Develop comprehensive, accurate, and standards-compliant technical documentation.
• Gain in-depth understanding of complex products and translate technical information into clear, user-friendly content.
• Tailor documentation to meet the needs of technical and non-technical users to support effective product use.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics
• 2+ years of experience developing software in C++, C, and Python
• Proficiency in Git version control
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio Code (VS Code)
• Fluent in written and verbal English
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a proven ability to understand complex systems quickly
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with engineers to refine content and develop diagrams and visuals
• Ability to manage multiple technical writing assignments simultaneously

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Practical experience using Artificial Intelligence tools to analyze code and generate technical content
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Modeling and Simulation tools and methods
• Solid understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Reverse engineer existing software codebases (C++, C, Python) to produce functional block diagrams, interface diagrams, functional descriptions, and mathematical representations.
• Create and maintain documentation using Doxygen for in-code technical references.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and develop structured documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, procedures, and system/process overviews.
