Job Description
As a technical writer at TOMRA, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and reviewing technical documents, ensuring all materials are of a high quality and comply with the relevant rules, standards and regulations. You enjoy collaborating closely and working effectively in interdisciplinary teams and keep up to date with trends in technical documentation, such as multimedia documentation (e.g. videos, tutorials). You’re passionate about researching complex technical topics and bringing them to life via simple, coherent video tutorials.

Responsibilities
  • using our content management system (SCHEMA ST4) to create and revise our technical documents, including user manuals, pre-installation requirements (PIRs), software manuals, and service information,
  • creating graphics using SolidWorks composer and Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop,
  • independently researching and preparing technical information,
  • ensuring that our technical documentation complies with relevant standards and regulations,
  • translation management via CMS,
  • keeping up to date with trends in technical documentation (e.g. multimedia documentation, tutorials) and providing input for the optimization of our processes and tooling (e.g. the usage of AI tools)
