Description
The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for our pediatric home healthcare services. This role requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Key Responsibilities: - Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and standard operating procedures - Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of documentation - Review and edit existing documentation to ensure consistency and clarity - Develop templates and style guides to ensure consistency across all documentation - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing - Assist with the development of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of documentation - Work with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation meets the needs of various stakeholders - Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field - 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the healthcare industry - Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to organize complex information - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat - Experience with document management systems and version control - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Strong time management and project management skills - Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
