Clinical Architecture is seeking a Technical Writer in the Indianapolis, IN area to join our Documentation team. For this position, we are seeking an experienced software writer to create client documentation including, user guides, API documents, install guides, implementation guides, etc. for existing and new products.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2 + years of technical writing experience required.
  • College or University degree in Technical Writing or related discipline preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in software writing.
  • Experience working with Madcap Flare and HTML authoring.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and responsive to dynamic situations and changing priorities.
  • Experience in structuring new documents.
  • Team oriented; ability to share and coordinate work among peers.
  • Self-motivated and can work independently.
  • Knowledge of constructing technical documentation for developers.
  • Eager to understand Clinical Architecture products.
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate cross functionally with our DevOps, Product Quality, and Product teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of our products and documentation requirements.
  • Develop a working knowledge of Clinical Architecture products to enable the creation of content tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Define project scope and estimate work based on content analysis and product understanding.
  • Organize information and complete writing assignments according to departmental standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Documentation, Video, and Training teams to create education packages.
  • Peer review content to help ensure accuracy, consistency, readability, and usability.
  • Guide documentation through the factory review while ensuring required reviewer approvals.
  • Ensure content is delivered with the highest quality to build customer confidence, satisfaction, and trust.
