For more information: https://www.segulatechnologies.com Job Description Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation that supports our engineering and maintenance operations. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to produce clear, accurate, and compliant documentation aligned with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Develop, author, review, and standardise technical publications, including maintenance manuals, operating procedures, and engineering documentation. Ensure documentation complies with Australian and international standards and safety principles. Incorporate engineering design changes and manage document version control. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content for internal and external stakeholders. Conduct peer reviews and quality checks to maintain accuracy and consistency. Liaise with engineering, operations, and customer teams to gather requirements and validate content. Maintain document libraries and support continuous improvement of documentation processes. Skills & Experience 1–5 years experience in technical writing within engineering, rail, or related industries. Strong ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured documentation. Familiarity with document control systems and change management processes. Knowledge of Australian and international standards relevant to rail and engineering documentation. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint and technical authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, MadCap Flare). Understanding of safety principles and ability to integrate into documentation. Additional Information Note : Candidates must currently reside in Australia and hold valid Australian working rights.
