Academic Technical Services are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Technician to support teaching and learning within the Institute of Education, Arts and Society. In this role, you will support Primary and Secondary Science practical teaching on our undergraduate and postgraduate Initial Teacher Training programmes within the Institute, which would include managing our Chemistry, Biology and Physics laboratories, equipment, and reagents.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate sound scientific and chemical knowledge up to A-level with previous experience of working in a laboratory environment, ideally within a school or Further Education college. Excellent communication and organisation skills are key; to build effective working relationships with colleagues and ensure a high quality of service delivery.
