Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for improving and sustaining the automation equipment capability and meet the KPI (Availability, OEE and Yield). Performing and line troubleshooting and supporting daily production operation. Analyze equipment failure root causes and propose corrective actions. Ability to identify root cause and provide corrective action through use of Effective problem solving tools. Perform regular inspections to identify equipment root cause. Perform Preventive Maintenance and calibration the equipment to optimal condition. Maintain equipment maintenance documentation and checklist. Propose improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability. Support equipment setup, relocation and retirement. Assist Engineer in continuous Equipment improvement projects and Automation projects Demonstrate a high degree of initiative, motivation, and willingness to work proactively either independently or within the team. Qualifications REQUIRED: Candidate must possess at least Certificate with 7 years' experience as technician or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics with 5 years' experience. PREFERRED: Familiar with automation equipment (robotics, conveyors, storage systems, sensors, motors, etc.) Basic understanding of PLC operations (reading I/O status, simple fault isolation). Knowledge of TPM, 5S, and basic Lean Manufacturing principle. SKILLS: Expertise in using power tools, hand tools, repairing and troubleshoot motor and sensor related errors. Knowledge in writing technical report. Ability perform clean wire soldering and proper wire management. Systematic approach to identifying, analyzing, and resolving equipment malfunctions. Hands-on skills using tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to handle system alarms, downtime recovery, and escalations. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Good documentation accuracy (logs, maintenance reports, equipment history). Ability to lead a shift with good teamwork and collaboration skills.
