    Position Summary
    The Department of Pediatrics is seeking Technician A to join our team in a full-time position to work within the division of Endocrinology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and assistance to clinical and multiple ongoing research projects with patients.
  • Support and assist with the initiation and execution of new protocols and projects.
  • Serve as scribe by documenting clinical information in EPIC.
  • Keep records and test project results.
  • Assist in the collection of samples for experimental or diagnostic purposes.
  • Assist with eliciting information from patients and their families in accordance with structured interview procedures.
  • Perform library and online literature research.
  • Assist with the preparation of PowerPoint presentations, manuscripts, abstracts and grants.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary to the functioning of the research projects.
  • Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two years of college or a completed A.A program with an emphasis in chemistry, biology or physics or a completed animal husbandry program.
  • One year of related experience, or equivalent in education, training and/ or experience.

Other Requirements

  • Must work well with all age groups - children, adolescents and parents.
