    The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
    Position Summary
    The Technician A will provide research support in a top notch research laboratory. The successful candidate will receive training in biomedical science, interacting with basic scientists and physicians in a multidisciplinary environment.
    Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who is dedicated to research and who is excited for the opportunity to be heavily involved in the Zhang Lab. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing research, analyzing data, and synthesizing results.
  • Preparing materials for and assisting in experiments and general laboratory maintenance.
  • Ordering and maintaining laboratory or clinical supplies for the Zhang Lab
  • Maintaining lab notebook or records related to task
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two years of college or a completed A.A. program with an emphasis in biology or the equivalent in education, training and experience. Please provide GPA in application.
  • Must have basic knowledge in chemistry and good general math skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks in a team setting.
  • Collaborative efforts are heavily emphasized in the lab, as it can lead to maximum productivity.
