SKILLS

  • Proficiency in working with Packaging machines, Scales, Fillers, motors, sensors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
  • Experience in welding techniques and practices.
  • Familiarity with facilities maintenance protocols and best practices.
  • Ability to operate an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
  • Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
  • Supervising experience is preferred, showcasing leadership capabilities within a technical environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes is an asset, contributing to overall operational efficiency. Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance at customer sites and in-house location.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers and electrical systems.
  • Utilize schematics to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct tasks as necessary for repairs and modifications.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to junior technicians or apprentices as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Field Service Management.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with clients or stakeholders during service calls.
  • Execute residential painting tasks as required for facility upkeep and other administrative and handy jobs.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support production goals and equipment functionality.
