Tasks:

• Verification, transfer and validation of analytical methods according to pharmacopoeia specifications and ICH guidelines (e.g. ICH Q2(R2))
• Independent planning, execution, and evaluation of analyses using current methods, taking theoretical principles into account.
• Testing of raw materials, intermediate products, bulk goods, finished goods and other samples arising within the scope of testing orders in accordance with the applicable testing instructions and SOPs using wet chemical, chromatographic and spectroscopic testing methods.
• Responsibility for analytical instruments including maintenance, (re-)qualification, and creation, revision, and review of SOPs.
• GMP-compliant documentation
• Active participation in the design and optimization of laboratory processes, as well as involvement in interdisciplinary projects.

Qualifications:

• Successfully completed training in the field of pharmacy, chemistry, biology or a degree in a natural science
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a GMP-regulated environment or in a comparable field
• Solid knowledge of wet chemical, instrumental and spectroscopic analysis (e.g. titration, TLC, HPLC, GC, release analysis, IR)
• Independent, structured and proactive work style
• Interest in helping shape processes and taking on responsibility within the team
• Team orientation, reliability and communication skills
• Good English skills, both spoken and written.
• Safe use of MS Office
