JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in engineering principles, with expertise in various technical disciplines including electrical and mechanical systems. This role involves working on diverse projects that require proficiency in design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex systems. The Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects from conception through to completion.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should have a background in engineering or a related field, with experience in the following areas:

  • Proficiency in CAD software including MicroStation and SolidWorks for design purposes.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong mathematical skills to support technical calculations and analyses.
  • Previous experience in construction environments is advantageous but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about technology and eager to contribute to innovative projects within our organisation.

Pay: £24,420.00-£52,869.50 per year

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development initiatives, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Create and interpret schematics for electrical engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GD&T principles.
  • Engage in debugging processes to resolve technical problems efficiently.
  • Perform maintenance tasks on existing systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Apply mechanical knowledge to support fabrication processes and system design activities.
  • Use programming languages such as Python, C, C++, and MATLAB for system modelling and analysis.
  • Contribute to the documentation of processes, designs, and project outcomes.
