Responsibilities
  • To be responsible and diligently carry out the assigned maintenance tasks by the Engineering Manager (EM) and Chief Engineer (CE).
  • To promote professionalism, adhere to policies and procedures as trained.
  • To perform the assigned inspections, repairs, and maintenance for all building components as instructed by the CE or EM.
  • To follow as trained all the health, safety and fire-life safety procedures and standards.
  • To report to the Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager immediately of any unusual events that occur, whether it be in respect of the engineering operation, physical plant, or H&S matters.
  • To provide input/feedback on specific work challenges.
  • Liaise with service and call-out contractors including escorting contractors to the work area, discussing the work, and monitoring and signing off their work.
  • To be responsible for retrieving and completing any allocated work orders as per policies and procedures through an automatic internal system Alice and Transcendent.
  • To be responsible for reporting any discrepancies unsolved problems and newly observed engineering problems to the management as soon as possible.
  • To adhere to and promote Mandarin Oriental Group Core Competencies.
