We are looking for a talented Technician Apprentice to join our team specializing in Diesel Engines for our Distribution Business in Dedham, MA. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: During your apprenticeship, you are a full-time, paid employee who will complete a development program with the support of our coaching technicians and managers. Our agreement with you ensures you receive the following upon successful completion: Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree, Automotive & Diesel Technology* U.S. Department of Labor Trade Certificates for Diesel Engines * No college debt – Cummins pays for your education/ Course credits that are transferable towards a bachelor’s degree To be successful in this role you will need the following: Passionate about working with your hands Ability to work with small hand tools while maintaining overall safety Ability to stand for prolonged periods Ability to lift to 50 lbs. Education/Experience Applicants must meet the minimum community college general education course requirement of 2.8 GPA High School (unweighted), or 22 ACT score, or GED with one year of college including Math and English with a minimum 2.8 GPA Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.
