Description

Main functions Cleaning, testing, maintaining, prepping and repairing equipment prior to carrying out a job Monitoring and repairing equipment during shows and any required fault finding Building and installing equipment on site unsupervised, according to designated layout Setting up and operating systems/equipment for smaller projects (i.e. running small to medium-sized shows) Loading and unloading of equipment Cleaning of equipment after shows and storing properly Rigging and de-rigging of all equipment safely Working as part of a team on and off site Notifying Head of Department of all defective equipment Providing a good level of support to the HOD Performing annual inventory of all Encore equipment as per the set procedures in place Having a good understanding of department equipment Interacting directly with clients on site in a customer-oriented manner. Adhering to health and safety regulations and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment Reporting all health and safety issues to Group HSE Manager Respecting and adhering to company policies, rules and procedures Miscellaneous tasks within your scope of work, as assigned by the direct supervisor

Responsibilities

The technician will be responsible for cleaning, testing, maintaining, and repairing audio equipment, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting during shows. They will also build and install equipment on-site and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
