Description
We have an immediate opening for a Technician, Avionics for the Operations Department—Langley. This position will be based out of the Langley facility and will report to the Crew Chief, Avionics.   Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Maintenance & installation of avionics and electrical systems fitted to aircraft  * Ensuring all applicable AD’s, SB’s, modifications , SL’s, etc. are complied with  * Recording work on Company build sheets or applicable forms  * Following established maintenance techniques and adhering to standards  * Placing complete parts orders for projects  * Submitting product status reports  * Other duties as assigned     Applicable qualifications, attributes and competencies are: * Formal, recognized training (BCIT or equivalent)  * Experienced with maintenance and installation of avionics and related electrical systems  * A current AME “E” license preferred * Understanding of technical documents * Strong leadership and motivational skills * Familiarity with current aviation regulations and standards  * Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of aircraft avionics systems  * Ability to work with minimal supervision  * Must be able to travel and work overtime as needed Raising the Standard of Excellence since 1911 With over a century of proven excellence, StandardAero has become an industry leader in MRO services and customized solutions in the aerospace field.
