The Position: As a Bronze Level Ophthalmic Technician at Panorama Eyecare, your journey begins with a comprehensive 6-week training program designed to equip you with the foundational skills necessary for success in your role. This intensive training will focus on completing a range of essential tasks, from basic patient assessment and diagnostic testing to equipment operation and maintenance. The overarching goal of this training is for you to achieve full proficiency in the following core competencies: Portable Tonometry (iCare, Tonopen) CL Fitting- SV - Soft Fit Contact Lens I&R - Soft OCT (Optic Nerve & Macula) Corneal Topography Autoclave Humphrey Visual Field Basic Scribe (Ophthalmic/Optometric Terminology, NG Input) Fundus Photo/Optomap Lensometry Manual Basic Vitals (Temp, BMI, BP, HR) Pachy Soft Skill development Key Responsibilities: Patient counseling and education as needed. Awareness of patient flow issues and ability to maintain efficient clinical flow. Updates daily schedule by assessing no-shows and add-ins. Scribes in a rotational pattern. Answers and returns phone calls and writes scripts as requested by physicians and other departments. Stocks and cleans clinic as needed. Facilitates patient experience by assisting physicians in overall patient care. Works within the confines of the team by assisting other departments with answers to questions, patient triage, etc. Maintains a professional demeanor, including dress and work conversation. Understands and solves patient complaints. Other duties as assigned. Prior experience in a fast-paced medical office and in electronic health record preferred. Physical Demands: Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to raise hands and arms to shoulder level without restriction, pain, or discomfort. Ability to perform extended use of phones and computer terminals, as well as diagnostic equipment without pain or discomfort. Additional Job Details: Works at the Eye Center of Northern Colorado This position requires regular travel between clinic locations in the Northern Colorado area, including Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable working across multiple sites as needed. This is a Full-Time Position. Compensation for this role will be $19.50.15 - $22.88 an hour based on experience.
