RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform basic maintenance services including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, battery service, wiper blades, bulbs, and fluid top-offs. * Complete entry-level inspections and document findings clearly. * Mount, balance, and repair tires; set and verify tire pressures and torque specs. * Assist senior technicians with light repairs and teardown/setup tasks. * Move vehicles safely and maintain clean, organized work areas. * Use basic scan tools to retrieve codes under guidance. * Follow repair orders, timekeeping, and parts procedures accurately. * Adhere to all safety, environmental, and PPE standards. * Communicate with service advisors and teammates regarding status and needs. * Support shop supply and tool inventory management. * Perform other duties as assigned to support shop efficiency. REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive coursework preferred. * 0–2 years of dealership or shop experience (internship/co-op acceptable). * Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions. * Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and routine maintenance. * Ability to use basic hand tools, lifts, tire machines, and scan tools under supervision. * Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn. * Ability to follow repair documentation, safety procedures, and timekeeping standards. * Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/bend for long periods, and work in variable conditions. * ASE entry-level certifications preferred or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
