Check us out further on our website at www.cnitucson.com Job Description We are seeking a hardworking individual to join our consulting group based in Tucson, AZ. The position is with our vibrating wire piezometer installation team doing the following: Travel to mine sites and work with drill crews to install specialty geotechnical and hydrogeology instruments in drill holes including vibrating-wire piezometers and TDR cable at various sites mostly in Arizona and in the western US Set up data loggers, collect and process data Prepare technical documentation and reporting of field and analysis work Qualifications 5+ years of work experience Background working with tools and machinery in a mining, engineering, construction, mechanical, or a related field Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office products Proficiency in Excel including ability to modify worksheets, modify formulas, and create charts Comfortable in working with a wide variety of hand and battery powered tools Good communications skills (oral and written) A natural problem solver with an engineering mindset Team player Willing to travel domestically and internationally Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a Department of Transport medical examination Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time Willing to work day- or night-shift as needed All candidates must legally be authorized to work in the USA Preferred Undergraduate studies in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) field Work truck and light trailer driving experience Mining experience Engineering field experience Additional Information Starting Pay $25–$30 per hour, depending on prior experience and education.
