Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Technician Component Repair to join our team in Toamasina, Madagascar. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various electronic and mechanical components to ensure optimal functionality and performance. You will work in a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are paramount, utilizing your technical expertise to minimize downtime and maintain high-quality standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot defective components using specialized testing equipment and tools Perform detailed repairs on electronic and mechanical components, including soldering, replacement, and calibration Analyze technical documentation and schematics to identify component failures and determine appropriate repair procedures Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment to reduce the risk of component failure Document all repair activities, including parts used, time spent, and repair outcomes, in organized records Test repaired components to verify functionality and ensure they meet quality standards before returning to service Maintain a clean and organized work station, properly storing tools and materials Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues and share knowledge Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while handling electrical and mechanical equipment Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance repair efficiency and reduce costs Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2-3 years of hands-on experience in component repair, electronics repair, or a related technical field Proficiency in using diagnostic testing equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering equipment Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and repair manuals Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate repair documentation Ability to work efficiently and meet repair deadlines Technical certification in electronics, electrical systems, or mechanical repair (preferred) Experience with industrial equipment maintenance and component-level diagnostics (preferred) Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and quality assurance procedures (preferred) Additional Information Quantity required: 02 Technician Component repair (Gearbox and Pumps)
