Job Description Job Title: Draughtsman – Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) & Infrastructure Projects Position Overview: The Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, as-built documentation, and design modifications for STP and related infrastructure projects. The role requires strong technical drafting skills, familiarity with UAE sewerage, drainage, and irrigation networks, and the ability to work closely with engineers, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Key Responsibilities: · Prepare and revise technical drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation using the latest versions of MicroStation and AutoCAD. · Interpret design inputs from engineers and accurately translate them into detailed drawings. · Review, update, and maintain drawings in compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, and quality standards. · Track and verify existing sewerage, drainage, and irrigation networks in Dubai using as-built records from DS, IRR, and Roads projects. · Conduct site surveys to verify construction progress and gather data for accurate as-built drawings. · Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of drawings. · Maintain an organized archive of project drawings and related documentation. · Provide technical support during construction, ensuring drawings reflect approved changes and actual site conditions. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: · Diploma or relevant technical qualification in drafting or civil engineering. · Minimum 7 years’ experience in drafting related to sewerage, drainage, irrigation, foul drainage connections, and miscellaneous works, preferably within the UAE. · Proficient in MicroStation, AutoCAD, Windows OS, Microsoft Office applications, and internet-based tools.
