Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing carpet and upholstery cleaning, environmental cleaning, and forensic cleaning duties. The Technician will work closely with our team to ensure the successful completion of tasks related to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various environments.
Duties:
- Conduct carpet and upholstery cleaning using industry-standard techniques and equipment.
- Perform environmental cleaning, including void/end of tenancy cleaning and general maintenance.
- Carry out forensic cleaning duties, including trauma and crime scene cleaning, ensuring thorough decontamination and adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Utilize knowledge of cleaning agents and tools to effectively address different types of stains and contaminants.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and completion of tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any issues or discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience in carpet and upholstery cleaning preferred but not necessary.
- Knowledge of environmental and forensic cleaning procedures and protocols. (training will be provided)
- Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
- A full UK Driving License is required
