Check us out - www.oceanagold.com Job Description OceanaGold are seeking a suitably qualified and motivated Technician - Electrical & Instrumentation to manage critical assets, facilities, and its components, and to ensure they shall be maintained, preserved, and reliable for operation with safety personnel and care for the environment is the outmost priority. The role will report to the Supervisor-Electrical Maintenance. Key tasks and responsibilities: Troubleshoots electrical faults, diagnoses problems, and implements corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation Correctly assesses required electrical, materials, tools and equipment Correctly interprets and applies concepts on mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and high vacuum systems on electrical maintenance works Conduct risk assessments for mining, operation, identifying, and evaluating potential risks and their impacts Conduct maintenance activities by following established standard operation procedures Conduct routine maintenance activities in a timely manner Apply string fault finding and diagnostic capabilities Completes required data collection process Reads diagrams and drawings on Process and Instrumentation (P&ID), logic, schematic loop for instrumentation and control systems, construction, as-built Qualifications Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold Way Educational Background: Graduate of any vocational trade studies major in electrical or industrial electrici Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years of work experience as industrial electrician Previous work experience in metal & mining industry is an advantage.
